A family company, named for three daughters
LHJ is not a random set of letters. They are the initials of the founder’s three daughters — Layla, Haleemah, and Jaidah — and they are the reason this company exists. They are what motivates the work, every load and every line of code.
Drivers are too often the smallest voice in the room: the last to see the real numbers and the first to absorb the cost when a “good” load turns bad. LHJ was built from the driver’s seat to change that — fair freight, clear numbers, and a road that leads home.

LHJ’s trucking wing is building toward a zero-emission fleet. That isn’t a slogan pasted onto the page — it’s the promise in our mission statement, planned in the open, in front of our customers and our drivers.
Why it matters to drivers
Fuel is one of the biggest costs in trucking, and it swings. Zero-emission trucks change that math. And cleaner air matters in every community freight passes through — including the ones our own families live in.
Honest timing
This is a phased direction for the not-too-distant future — not a claim about the truck we run today. We’ll move as the trucks, the charging and fueling infrastructure, and the economics mature.

Battery-electric
Shorter, regional routes where the truck comes back to base and charging is practical. Predictable miles, home every night, charged and ready by morning.
